argh my ipod headphones were in my pocket and i washed them. lol it's all curly, but works. i am under warranty, so would i be able to trade them in? even though they still work.

You may be able to contact Apple and say that there was something wrong with them. A lot of people have contacted Apple, and they seem to be very happy to give out replacement earphones.

Apple will be happy to replace headphones. My original ones (came with 3G iPod) were starting to lose it and they sent me a new pair in three business days.
