Unable to browese by album, artist, genre etc on my iPod.
Tags all work fine in MM but do not get transferred to iPod. All that shows up on iPod is the songs titles in alphabetical order (if not in a playlist) or numerical order w/playlist number than song title (if they are in a playlist).
I have tried everything I or the help desks at (both Apple & MM) can figure out, guess at or suggest including:
a) reloading Ipod 2.01, MM (both 7.5 and 8.0), and plug-ins (all on numerous occasions
b) checking tags (ID3-which work fine w/MM on the computer but not on Ipod)
c) downloading to iPod in several ways (full synch, partial synch, click-and-drag, etc)
I have a brand new 3rd gen 30G iPod, am running Windows XP, have a working firewire connection, using MM 7.5 (iPod/windows release) w/correct plug in.
Q1. Does anybody have the above (or similar configuration) and have working artist/album/genre tags?
Q2. Must I get another program (ie Ephod) to transfer?
