Hi everyone !

Got my brand new Ipod today and offcourse I want to test it immediately , but I have a problem.

I 'm using a windows PC , chaintech apogee 7vjl motherboard and an usb 2.0 cable for the ipod.

I connect the usb cable to the front of my PC ( I have a frontpanel in a floppy drive slot with 4 usb slots ) & I connect the other end of the cable to my dock. I 'm planning to use ephpod which is installed , should I at first update my software from my pod or something ? I also tried the cd that came with the ipod ...

When I connect the usb cable I can see this pop up in windows (xp) I 'll have to translate as my windows is in dutch

"Fast usb device connected on a slow hub"
Usb device for masssaving is a fast usb-device.This device works at a slower speed if connected to a slower port.
"There are no fast usb hostcontrollers installed on this computer.
Then it also shows 3 pictograms of usb saying
"VIA rev 5 or later usb universal host controller"

I really don't know what's happening , my ipod screen says 'do not detach'. I 'm sure my motherboard supports usb 2.0 but I don't know if I have to download some application to make the usb ports work properly or something.
I 've never used this usb port only for a digital camera which has the same usb cable as my ipod's.

Please , please help me out
