So I have been looking at getting an I-Pod or a Rio Carbon for awhile but didn't want to spend alot of cash. But when I was in the city this past weekend I found this deal. At a futureshop this sales dude brought out an "out of box " deal,

new 10gb 3rd gen I-Pod
A/C adapter
i-Pod cord to firewire
the usb/I-Pod/firewire cord { all for $365.00 }
6pin to 4pin adapter
earbuds
software
3 year futureshop total warranty
Taxes

All this stuff is new! because it was Old technology, and it was out of box I got all the stuff above for $365.00!
I think this was a great deal since in the same store there mini's were going for $330.00 without extra cords($40), adapter($49) or warranty($70) or taxes. so that's my story, nice to join the I-Pod club it's a great little unit. see ya all agian .

you should check the manufacuring date. if it is over a year ago crack it open and replace the battery.

Umm thanks for the welcome into the cult... and I dont know what the date of manufacture was but the battery life is good, it has played for a good eight hours then i turned it off and went to sleep, so i figure it's good. And if it isnt or when the battery gets to low then I will get futureshop to send it in and replace the battery, that's one of the reasons why I got the warranty, they get it done for me no charge.

I don't know whether it was a good deal or not, since I don't know how much 4G iPods are there, plus I don't know how much taxes are. All I know is I could get a new 20GB 4G for the same price, but without the warranty and taxes.
