Not sure if this has been answered already...
Heres the deal, I have a 4G/20gig using a WinXP system with iTunes 4.7 to update my iPod (about 16gigs full) and connected to USB 2.0 port. After iTunes froze during an update I eventually shutdown my PC and disconnected my iPod. After a reboot my iPod no longer recognized, displays CHARGING but not the usual DO NOT DISCONNECT. Tried installing iPod/iTunes software on a laptop and another PC but still not recognized. Can't even perform an update or restore from the iPod installer software.
iPod itself performs fine and charges, but not recognized on 3 WinXP PC's.
Thats the situation, I really appreciate any help fixing this problem.
