Does this error message cause problems?

I don't want to turn this into another lengthy thread but the excellent summary of the corrupt file issues that has been created does not mention whether any conclusion has been reached re problems caused by this bug. i.e .most of the old posts basically say this does not appear ot have caused a problem, that their ipod functions normally. Has anyone identified any real problem caused by this bug with the performance of the ipod?

The purpose of the threads is so people can post about this problem there. So any questions you have are to be posted to that thread not start another one on the same subject. All other post have been merged into the two threads on this topic.
