I found a nice case for the iPod Shuttle at target for $7.50. It is a leather phone case for a Nokia 3300 phone. It has a see thru front cover that allows pressing the controls while in the case. It also has a slot at the bottom that the headphones can be plugged thru. It has elastic sides that let the case expand, but putting a stitch or two in on both sides keeps the case thin and almost exactly fits the size of the Shuttle case. Even without stitching the sides, it doesn't rattle around too much. It also comes with a belt clip.

lol harsh man, just harsh!
Nice find there with that case. I don't know if I'd even bother with a case for mine, but that is still rather cool.

I couldn't find it on target.com. The case is made by GE/Sanyo.

Pretty cool find. I'll definitely look around my local Target for that.

I wouldn't put mine in it. Hey, that sounds good, mine. I just got it two days ago and this is the first time I've been foruming.

I have to agree - that case is, well... fugly.
The fact that it's made by GE should bring to mind an image of utilitarian inexpensive products. I don't know what possesses a company like GE to get into making products like that... perhapse they feel if they cover the stylish, svelt, modern devices like ipods with these generic, boring, tacky covers - their junk in the store will look better.
Or maybe it's just to make a quick buck on something selling really well. Like the fruit flavored junk they made back when iMacs were multicolored... it was still a generic cheap usb keyboard made by GE, but now fruit colored... so it was now Mac friendly. Whateva...
But now the problem arises when people don't buy this garbage...
A few months later, GE will release a press release stating they will drop support for Apple and their devices because of poor sales - and then Apple's stock will drop because GE said they don't sell.

It's just a very functional inexpensive case. I'm not sure that a discussion about GE is called for here. GE did not make this case specifically for the iPod. They made it for a phone. It just happens to function well for the iPod Shuffle when some minor modifications are made to it.
