Just got some USB 2.0 ports

I just bought a USB 2.0 pci card and installed it on my computer... amazed at the speed...transferred a 112 mb file onto a flash drive in just under 20 secs.

Now Im set for when my shuffle comes:D :D

It has 2 ports and cost me $29.99 Cdn.

My case has two front USB ports, and I found out a few months ago that they're only 1.1. Luckily, the 4 on the back are all 2.0, but it's annoying having to put the shuffle back there.

As soon as the shuffle Docks are available at the Apple store I'm getting one.

I got some USB 2.0 ports for my laptop (cardbus) that come with firewire ports. Dropped $50 on this sucker. Just waiting for the shuffle to come now.

The ports on the front of the computer are likely not highpowered, therefore, even if it was 2.0, you wouldn't be able to charge it.... Give it a try though when you get it to see if you can charge it with the front ones.
