Costly maintenance for shure e2c? HELP QUICK PLEASE!

Do you need to constantly replace the earbud sleeves and foam?
CAn you live without it? Is sony ex-71 cheaper in maintenance? I need a quick response please because I am just about to order.

The foams will need to be replaced about once a month. The silicon sleeves (clear and black) don't need to be replaced.

Yes, they must be worn with the cord over the ear. Once it goes over the ear, though, you can just hang it in front of you like normal.
