i know you guys get a lot of these types of threads and i know it annoys you but i really need a recommendation here. i've got $50 i want to spend on headphones for my new ipod shuffle but i really cant decide, these are a few i were considering

Sony RX71's- they are right in my price range but from what i've heard from reviews and these forums they have high bass and low treble, i listen to alot of psych rock (the doors, pink floyd, etc) and high bass isnt good. i'm also 6 feet tall and the cord would be too short to reach to my pocket where my shuffle will be, and i fear the extension will be too long.
Apple In-Ear-they are also white which will match the shuffle perfectly, (which is a must for me) and they are supposedly comfortable, but according to reviews they seem to have a habbit of falling out of ears and dilvering not so great sound. also in my pricerange.

are my assumptions correct about those 2 headphones? if they are what are good alternatives? under $50, white, and decent sound and comfort, are ideal, but if i have to pay a little bit more, or they are not so comfortable, then i'm willing to sacrifice, i will not sacrifice sound or style.

thanks

Bump, anyone have any alternatives to those 2 headphones that match the ipod under $50?

spend the extra 25 and get shure e2c's. They're worth it. Don't bother with the rubbish you listed above.

Any Shures or Etys will be good, but they are a little out of your price range. If you really hafta stay under 50 dollars, I would go for the EX71's. They have a great bang for the buck. BUT, for the love of God, do NOT get the Apple In-Ears--they just aren't worth anywhere near 40 dollars. Hope that I helped...

Yahba Opus Earphones.

they are around $30, and the ipodlounge site gave it a great rating in its review. they commented on how they sound better than the EX71's, but just a lil bit less comfortable than Sony's in-ear phones.
