In about 1-2 weeks I'm planning on buying a new car (specifically the 2005 Scion tC), and I've read that the Neo Ion is one of the only direct connect solutions for the Scion right now. Does anyone know of any other solutions that may be better for the Scion?

I have the neo ion and I can???t say enough good things about it and the people at www.mp3yourcar.com I know for a fact it works really well for Scions and Toyotas. My friend installed one in an Xb and he said the quality was great. Good luck???

I may actually pick up the IceLink now instead of the Neo Ion, but is there a difference? I think they cost the same and use the same materials, but the icelink has it's own dock for the iPod, so is that the only difference?

The new ICE Link Plus offers playlist selection using the controls on the stereo, in addition to track skip. It will also display text information on a small number of aftermarket headunits. The ICE Link Plus is slightly more expensive than the New Ion. The ICE Link can be purchased with the Dock Cradle or plain Dock Cable. They both have the same concept of plugging into the headunit's CD Changer port.

To my knowledge they use the same technology. I got a dock with the neo ion I ordered - just call and tell them you would like a dock. They do not have them on their web site yet but they have both sizes in stock last time I checked.

I heard with the new icelink that the interface is more like the Apline unit and you are sort of limited when it comes to play lists ect.
