Love my er6i's, one annoying thing:

I can't tell Right from Left! OK, I can pick them up, hold them in my hand, squint and see the White on Clear hard-to-read "L" and "R" but that takes me an annoying 15 seconds or so and kinda bugs me.

Does anyone have any clever ideas for marking their phones for quick and easy identification? I don't want to do anything that would make the things un-resellable or ugly.

A couple of my ideas:

- Paint (sharpy, or some sort of dye) the actual plastic flange with a bit of Red for the "right" - not ideal because hey, that #### might come off in your ear and it would probably look a bit silly. Also doesn't work if you're using the foamies.

- Put a tiny piece of red electrical tape on the actual cord right up near the earbuds. Not sure if I could get a tiny piece to sit on there just right though. Plus getting it off would be trickly.

- Painting a bit of the last half-inch or so of the Right cord with a red sharpy.

- Painting the "outside" hard white plastic bits of one with a Red Sharpie. This may not be ideal because that tends to be a "high-traffic" area since you push on that to put them in and would rub off pretty easily.

The best solution would be if Etymotic had marked them JUST a little bit for identification - or maybe different colors for the rubber/foam tips like some others do?

Any ideas toss 'em my way - I'll probably post with whatever I end up doing...
