Does anyone know of a cable I can plug into the bottom of my g3 iPod and have a line out (female) on it, like a pig tail?
I would be using this to plug other cables into it when I don't need a dock (like keeping it in a case)

As of now, there are none. The new iPods just came out 3 weeks ago bud :p

Cases are easier to design then cables, specifically when you need to design a new port connector (i.e. the dock connector on the new iPods).

Has such a line-out cable been created? I sure would like to get ahold of one for my G3.
If you are
- good with a soldering iron
- comfortable doing fine pitch rework
- have an iPod cable you are willing to sacrifice
then you can make this yourself
