If its an auxiliary jack on the front just use a male to male jack plug from you earphone jack to the auxiliary jack. Since most stereos don't have that you mean auxiliary jack on the back. just run your male to male jack plug to the rear of your stereo and your done. I use the Itrip and have no wires to worry about. Airplay works well too. http://www.xtrememac.com/

What about a cassete-adaptor? An iTrip would work but you'd need to find a better long term solution...

Thanks for the responses guys, i don't want to get an fm transmitter because they don't seem to get good reception in my area. The male to male adapter sounds like what i need. Can i find an adapter at radio shack or should i look somewhere else?

My stereo has the front aux input. http://img.neoseeker.com/v_image.php?articleid=624&image=4
So, I would just have to get the male to male jack plug for it to work? Or do I still need to get the iTrip/Airplay type of adapter also?

Thanks in advance.

ipodoholic - all you'd need is the male->male corg

might i also recommend a product such as the belkin auto charger (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/72304/wo/MB7nybduKCr62AAdSZ82FIQthS9/1.0.0.11.1.0.6.9.21.0.1.1.1.1.1.1.0.3) which provides a line out as well as a charging solution for your ipod. using a product like this will give you superior sound as opposed to the sound you'll get just plugging it into the headphone jack on top. you'd plug your male/male 1/8 cord into your head unit and the other end into the belkin charger. the belkin charger would then connect to the bottom of the ipod

Cool! I'll definitely look into the Belkin unit also.
I bought the cord, plugged it in, and my iPod works in my car like a charm! Sounds pretty good also. Who knew this iPod could be so cool!? :D

bhb399mm, once again thanks for the replies and the tips. You are much appreciated! ;)
