Just Got Shuffle!!! Pics Very Soon

Here are some pictures of my brand new shuffle, it is about the size of a lighter, very light.. and overall i'm very pleased with it

well, when i first picked it up i was very suprised, its super light... have'nt connected it yet though..i reserved one before the apple store got them and they called today and said it was in, so i went and picked it up

what kind of packaging is it in?
Looks like the plastic isn't very high quality

yeah, its not that good of packaging.. it was just a box with a plastic container with a plastic sheet over it and under it was the manual, and the itunes disk, i'm gonna take a break now and load some songs :))))))))

How small is it really? What's the build quality like? How is it to navigate through music? What do you think of it overall? What about the LEDs? Spill the beans, you're like the first real iPod shuffle user we've heard from.

Just put about 100 songs on it... sounds great, just as good as my 15 gig. When using autofill i had it just put a certain playlist of my songs on it. Both modes, shuffle and play in order are great, and the buttons are easy to figure out. I'm lovin it so far

Can you use it on computers that dn't have itunes installed as a USB drive, do you just plug it in and it works? Can you move music onto it in this way as well?

Yer, can you somehow take a picture of it in your hand, or next to something similar in size, such as a lighter or glue stick. That way we can get a better idea of its size without having to rely on Apple's possibly tampered with ones.

I ordered a 1G and won't be shipped until the 28th. What I can't understand is that people keep saying that its small. Compared to other flash players it's actually pretty average. The Creative MUVO N200 is quite a bit smaller.

The muvo is smaller in some dimensions, 1 if i remember correctly. I'm willing to bet thought that the muvo is also greater in size when you calculate total volume. Also the muvo is heavier than the Shuffle even before you add the weight of the AAA battery.

Well, I decided to return my shuffle to Best Buy (they still have them since last week, somehow they did not manage to sell them) I thoughgt that I will manage without screen, but could not handle it. After looking for one song for about 3 minutes decided that it wasn't for me. That was my first ipod. So I decided to get mini. If you want mini, circuit city has them on sale for $229. But here are pluses for shuffle. Battery lasts for about 15 hours, so thats pretty good, and sound quality is awsome.
