What's the best option for simply mounting the iPod in car?

I currently use a Monster iCarPlay wireless but will be getting a Alpine 2005 h/u sometime this summer. Currently I sit my iPod in one of the cupholders of my '97 Tahoe. (For those familiar with the Tahoe's layout, it's the cupholder that you pull out right next to the stereo.)

I would like to get some kind of cell phone mount or something of that sort, what's the best option? Or should I get a mount specific to the iPod?
