How many ipod gen 3,4 or mini owners wanted to get ipod shuffle? I already own ipod gen 3 and mini, and I am thinking of getting ipod shuffle soon...

I have a 4G iPod 40GB and have ordered an iPod shuffle 1GB :)

Was getting a new flash usb memory drive and for the price, it works out about the same to just get the Shuffle! I'm definately thinking about it! It's main use will be data but i'll always have a couple albums on there and usually carry my earphones anyway!

i have a 3G 20GB iPod and my new 512 MB iPod shuffle arrives at my doorstep on Monday. it will be a dedicated gym/running iPod for me.

I have a 1G 5Gb iPod, & a 20GB 3G iPod. Right now I am extremely tempted to buy a 1Gb Shuffle.
(I just want to say, the 1st generation iPod is amazing for some reason.)

I have a 3rd Gen iPod already, and have ordered the 512MB iPod shuffle. I think it appeals to quite a lot of current iPod owners as a kinda companion to their iPod, which they can use under different circumstances.

Me and iMacc have a lot in common in terms of our iPod preferences. You have a 3G, ordered the shuffle, think the 3G design blows the 4G's away, and have the Sony EX71's, don't you?

I'd use it to carry around some files I use frequently like Ad Aware, Spybot S&D, Microsoft Anti-Spyware, Firefox, and Thunderbird (I do at home tech support as a side job and I always seem to need these programs) and some music to listen to as I drive to their homes.

I have a 4G 20GB iPod and I ordered a Shuffle on it's debut day.

I'm going to use the Shuffle primarily for working out. I had actually bought a 256MB SanDisk MP3 player from Best Buy the day before Apple announced the Shuffle. Needless to say, I took that back yesterday!

Just reserved a 512MB shuffle at the local Apple Store and should be arriving before this coming Friday. I can't wait!

Not me. I have a silver Mini which I absolutely love, but I was a little disappointed with the new Shuffle. Part of the reason I need a flash player is for sub-zero temperature outdoor use. The Shuffle wouldn't be the best choice for that anyway due to the LiIon battery. For now I will stick with my MuVo N200.

I'm kind of happy that I didn't like the Shuffle anyway. I can save that money for a future iPod Photo purchase.

I have a 20gig 3G and i kind of want a Shuffle. Just for the simplicity and size.

My current USB drive is only 128megs, so this would be nice to have also.

iPm is good for road trips and the office. iPs is just one step farther in terms of portability. Size really was a key issue for me.

That and leftover Christmas money.
