Apple.com iPod shuffles SHIPPING!!!

My 512 mb shuffle ordered at Apple.com on 1/11 just shipped 2 day air, arrives Monday! They are coming folks, well ahead of the "1 week" claim from Apple.com!!!

well, mine also was shipped yesterday. I will get it 1/18 by standard shipping speed.

if i suspected it would have shipped on a thursday i would have likely paid the 1 day shipping, because of the weekend my 2 day shipping turns into 4 day shipping and lets the regular shipping (free) catch up. bummer. oh well, i will have it monday and that is still far before i thought i would.

apple.com store is now reporting 2-3 week waits for the 512 mb model if you order today, so it must be backordered. i think the next 1-2 months these things are going to be hard to find.

canyonblue737 are you in the UK? It says mine is going to be shipping in 2-3 weeks, up for 1-2. Omg, so annoying. Hopefully they'll be able to get some of them off a bit earlier than that.

Any ideas as to when the 1GB models will start shipping? That's what I ordered, says it should ship before the 27th.

I just ordered mine today, and so far they say it's gonna ship on or around Feb 7th... :(.

Ordered the dock, too. That's shipping in March :eek:.

i am in the USA. i ordered my 512 mb model about 12:30 PM PT on 1/11 and it shipped 1/13. it seems Apple needs to start working on making more of these because it is backordered at this point nearly 3-4 weeks.

Monday is a holiday in the US. So if you're there it will not come this Monday.

I ordered a 512mb on 01/11/05 @ 07:20 PM PST. It hasn't shipped yet, the site says it will ship on or before 01/20/05.

i just oder 1gig size shuffle two days ago they told me it wont ship out until feb14 thats next month, hummm maybe i should call them back ask them why mine be taken so long. iam still willing to waite

Nope, seems like you just ordered late, so your on the bottom of the list. I ordered Tuesday night, the night it was announced, and my 1GB says it should ship by the 27th.

Yeah its first come first serve which is only fair enough. I ordered it on Tuesday and I've got a shipping date of on or before the 25th. I'm in the UK though so I don't know if it'll be delayed or if they'll stick to that. Has anybody from the UK had theirs shipped yet? Also the 1 GB seems to be the more popular size from looking at the shipping dates which seems a reversal of the usual trend (the 40GB is the less popular of the full size ipod).

On the UK site it said shipping for the 1GB version will take 3-4 weeks, whereas the 512MB will take 2-3 weeks. Looks like i'm not going to get it until early February. Oh well...

I just checked the status of my shuffle order. After quoting 3-4 weeks shipping earlier today, it now says on or before 25/01/05.

Yippee my shuffle should be shipped in 10 days :D :D :D
