Compendium?

Now that this forum has been around awhile, there will need to be a compendium of the major free music sites. Otherwise we'll just get a bunch of posts like "hey, Amazon has free downloads!" It think it would be a good idea to have a sticky note, which notes some of the major players. I could see having a couple of lists, one for permanently-free music, e.g. Amazon free downloads, Epitonic, and one for temporarily-free like Emusic....with a short description of the music thats available on eacy.

How's this sound? Anyone want to take a shot at it, or should I?

I've already been keeping a list to post a stickie of some of the sites and links so when there is enough to make a thread with links. If you have any other sites to add post them here. I haven't finished checking out the sites as of yet.

I was thinking one stickie but haven't fully decided yet on that. Your input is very welcome so any ideas just let me know.
