I have spent an evening researching the iPs for my nieces (8 and 12) and I have not been able to find the answer to one last question:
If I transfer a group of songs from my computer to the iPs, and give it to my nieces, would they then be able to connect it to their computer and transfer the songs from the iPs to the other computer (without having to download any software other than iTunes)?
I'm hoping with the flash concept that this is possible, as I'd like to supply them with an iPs pre-loaded with their favorite songs from my music collection but still allow them to switch out to other music from their parents' collection and not lose what I've given them.
