Does anyone have any opinion on the best 1/8" to 1/8" stereo cable? I'm using a Radio Shack one, but am curious if I'd find better audio quality with a cable from another company.

Thanks.

Also, a ground loop isolator is to minize the "engine whine" that some hear through the speakers, right? Are there any other products that minimize static sound? I don't notice it with my iPod, but when trying to connect a portable DVD player using its headphone out and also trying its line out, I was met with tons of static noise that practically drowned out the audio.

Well, I'm wondering if the ground loops were the problem with the portable DVD player's audio. My iPod doesn't have any problems, and the DVD player problem isn't engine whine, it's just static noise. You think that's all it is?

I'll look into the Monster Cable.
