I planned on buying a USB Memory stick today - should I just get the iPod Shuffle?

I woke up today with the intention of buying a new usb memory stick, i've given my other to my mum!

The one I was looking at was 49.99, a Sony, and held 128mb - bit pricey I thought, I saw some around ??60 for 256mb etc!

For some reason I didn't buy one, lucky really because I found out about the shuffle today after going into town! If I buy the shuffle JUST for usb memory capabilities, I get 512mb for ??60 or 1gig for ??99 - on top of that I get a smart little DAP player for minimum use to go along with my regular 40gigger!

You think this is a decent idea?

Anyone thinking the same?

I think the Shuffle is not for everyone, but in your case, I think Apple is marketing this item towards people in your position as well.

I could always use another flash drive. A gig is a nice size, especially for the price. I also want a flash player. Though I'd rather have one with more features and whatnot, the pricepoint of the shuffle is great.

I'll probably get one too.
