Does anybody know if the shuffle has a bookmark feature like the regular ipod/ipod minis?
Since I use my ipod mostly for reading, if the shuffle does come with the bookmark feature I might just pick one up! :D
Thanks!

According to the audible website, automatic bookmarks are a requirement for any player that plays audible files, so yes, the shuffle would have to have that feature.
I am thinking about getting a Shufle for my wife so that she can listen to audio books. It should be a very nice device for that. The price is right too.

According to apple's own web site, yes. Ipod Shuffle will support audible.
You can see the site here. (http://www.apple.com/ipodshuffle/specs.html)
Audio support MP3 (8 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, AAC (8 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Music Store, M4A, M4B, M4P), Audible (formats 2, 3, and 4) and WAV

I sometimes need to replay a minute or so when I listen to Audible. Does anyone know how that would work?

If it functions like other flash players (uptil now apple seems to defy traditions).... you might be able to resume if you directly switch off without pausing or stopping the track.
for forwarding and rewinding a track, keeping the >> or << buttons pressed should work. (This is how its on other players...don't know about the ishuffle)
Problem is if you press the << button and it jumps to the previous track or beginning. Then finding your way to 6:50 piont of the track would take more than 6minutes :) .... Thats when a display would be nice.
I'm again stressing the fact that I've not used a shuffle yet, I am just presuming a lot of stuff, based on my experience with other flash players.
