Well,

I just wanted to know if this is worth 120$ of my money to switch from my MDR-EX71. The EX71's cord, is a big burden for me , as I must use the extension, and there is alot of excess cord length in my pocket. I haven't ever listened to a "high - end" earphone but I think the EX71's are not too bad, although I think they seem a little uncomfortable to me. Are the ER-6i's worth it to switch from my EX71's??

thx

This is not really a question that anybody can answer for you. For me, the EX71s sound great and the difference between those and the Ety's is not big enough to warrant the extra cash. Others would claim the difference does warrant the purchase. A lot also depends on what type of music you listen to. I'd stick with the EX71s.

IF you want alot of bass in your music from what I've heard the ER-6i don't provide it. I think the Shure E2c has more bass than the ER-6i
