Magnetic Holder & Ipod? OK to DO?

I have a 4g 20gb ipod with an iskin on it. I have a magnetic holder on a vsm mount in my car for my satellite radio. This holder makes it easy for me to remove my radio whenever I want. I wanted to use this with my ipod and attach a magnet strip on the back of the iskin. My question is will this in any way interfere or damage my ipod's operation. Thanks in advance.

hmmm I'd advise prolly not doing that, there was a thread on here a while back where someone had a magnetic holder in his car and it actually erased and damaged the ipod's hardrive, so I don't think that's a good idea. Any magnets around the ipod could potentially damage it.
