I've got a BMW 530i and want to hook up my iPod. The iPod connection solution BMW offers doesn't work with my car.
I know there are a couple of new products out there: ice>Link from Dension (http://www.densionusa.com/), iCruze from Monster Cable (http://www.monstercable.com/). And maybe some more?
Are there any others out there I should look at?
So can someone who has seen/tried one of the above or another recommend one?
My iPod: 3G 15GB
My Car: 2003 530i (E39)
Has the Angel Eye lights (I mention this only because one of the vendors has different solutions for cars with and without the angel eye lights)
No CD changer
No Navigation system
No iDrive
My requirements: Ability to use the buttons on my steering wheel to change tracks (and volume, of course)
Want to see the track info on my the car's display
iPod should draw power from car. Something more elegant than plugging into lighter socket.
iPod should power off when car is switched off
