tried it down my back, no good when wearing a winter coat,

down the front, the wire from round the back on my ears kept slipping up?

The diagram in the back suggest you when wear them behind your back but I don't. As far as winter, you don't have to tuck them inside your shirt but agian I do and it doen't hurt to.

I usually wear them down the front with the slider pulled up under the chin just enough to keep the wires from slipping off my ears. If I am concerned about my appearance I will wear them with the slider tightened behind my head and with the cord going down the back of my shirt.
