Hello there,
I just finished integrating my iPod in to my car, using this guide at http://www.mindspring.com/~pmbenn/iPod/cable.htm.
Everything works, except I get noise when playing through the iPod.
I get a pulsing noise and some static coming through the aux input. If I unplug the dock cable, the noise stops.
I'm wondering whether it's an audio interference problem or a power source problem. I've pretty much ruled out the audio cable being faulty, as an unplugged iPod results in silence, not noise.
So it's either:
1. Power source
2. Audio cables (when the power comes throught when the iPod is connected, it interferes.
If it's the power source (which I think is most likely) - what can I use to fix this noise? The noise happens in ACC and Engine running.
