I have a 3rd generation iPod, and a laptop that doesn't have a 6 pin firewire port. Is it possible to charge my iPod in the USB 2.0 port - if so, what cable do I need?
Also, I recently bought a PCMCIA card - but it requires an ac adapter to provide power to the 6 pin firewire port. And getting one of those to power it adds more wires.
I'm basically looking for a way to charge my iPod through my computer, if that is possible - if it isn't, oh well.
