I just received my iSkin Ghost on Friday. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase except for one minor detail. The free iSkin Accessory/Travel Pouch (picture (http://www.fetenet2.com/iSkin/store/images2/pouch_gallery.jpg)) that comes with the case is damaged (see attached image). The zipper part is seperated from the plastic, leaving a hole half way across the top of the pouch when it is closed. I have requested an exchange but I am unsure wheter they will let me exchange just the free travel pouch. Also there is no way to buy a travel pouch seperatly from a new case. Could anyone recommend a good zipper case similar to the iSkin travel pouch? Or do you think they will ship me a new one?

From the iSkin website
Does the iSkin eVo come with a free promotional iSkin iPod Accessory Pouch?
When you order online from iSkin.com, you will receive the iSkin Accessory/Travel pouch to carry your iPod???s accessories. This is a free promotional item and is available only while quantities last and is not considered a part of the iSkin product line.
I have emailed them using the Exchange / Return form on their site but it says requests won't be processed until Jan 18th because of the holidays. If they don't send an email response within the next couple of days I will call. The pouch was damaged when I received it. I feel that they should ship out another one free of charge, although I would pay shipping if I had to.

JEEZ! I thought iSkin started shipping again on Dec. 30th. They sure do get alot of vacations. I would try for a free replacement bag. If that fails, SFbags.com has zippered travel bags for iPods. I just ordered one yesterday from them.
Good luck!

You're pleased with yours? Hrmm... I'm not very pleased with mine. got it on Friday in the mail, and tried it on the 60gb iPod. it fits okay, with a bit of buckling around the clickwheel.
My biggest complaint, though is that the silicone material picks up every single piece of dust, lint, pet hair (we have a cat), and little bits of whatever, that it can get itself near to.

They will probably send you a new one if you just got it.

Yes, I think you only get the travel pouch if you buy it directly from iSkin.com

Yes, I was looking at those. I'd still like to get a good travel pouch though because I can put my iPod and earphones in the pouch and slip it into my pocket. OR use it as another layer of protection like in the picture on the iSkin.com website. They should send one free of charge since it was damaged on arrival. I don't know if they will though.

Yes, I haven't had any problems with it yet. I have the ghost case which glows in the dark. It glows brighter than I expected. I saw photos on here of it glowing and thought it was crap, but it looks a lot better when you actually see it. Not as great as the picture on the iSkin.com website but still good. As for the lint/dust there's not much you can do about that... From the iSkin.com website:
How can I stop lint and dust from sticking to my iSkin?
It is the nature of silicone to attract dust and lint. Although we have taken steps to reduce this effect, pocket lint, fur and small particles are difficult to prevent. It is however possible to keep your iSkin product looking its best by wiping with a damp lint-free cloth from time to time. Our product team is working on an effective anti-static solution and plans to include it with future iSkin products.

Yeah, I'm going to call tomorrow and explain to them that I just received my iSkin on Friday, and the free travel pouch that comes with it is damaged. However I'm not sure about this...
Holiday Service: Any requests for exchange or refund beginning Dec 23rd, 2004 will not be processed until Jan.18th, 2005.

Here's a better pic, I outlined the part where it's ripped. There's a big hole in the top there. You can see a pattern where it's supposed to be attached to the zipper.

I called iSkin today... I gave my order # and I was told they would ship out a new travel pouch free of charge. Also, they are letting me keep the damaged pouch. When I called was only on phone for 3 minutes, very pleased. :)
