does anybody wanna split the cost and split the socks??
for example, if 3 people split the cost, they would have to pay 9.66 each and they would get 2 socks each

I'd be in if I'd could get money without getting a money order or using paypal because I don't really have access to anything of the sort. It's so taunting seing that you (Veasey) live in Cambridge and I live in Reading. That's about 13 miles there. If I could find a way to get you the money Veasey, I'd love to get a grey and pink sock. this is a great idea! i wanted to buy some socks but they are just too expensive for 6, and i wouldn't use all the colours anyway. i would love an orange sock. just the one. if that's taken, the green would also be cool.

okay, so just clearing it up, the original offer is still on the table. At this moment, i take it that there are 4 people (not including myself) in on the deal: Shaahid, SlowBye, Tess, and Superlyduper.
6 socks come in a box and there are 5 people in on the deal (including myself).

If anybody else wants to be in on the deal, thats cool, just email me(fighterkosmo at yahoo.com), PM me, or respond in this thread.

i havent bought the socks yet and i am not taking any final color choices yet
if anybody wants to be part of the deal, it would be helpful for you to respond to this thread with the following information:
-which deal you are talking about (specify!! see below)
-which color you want (although this isnt final, a 1st and 2nd color choice would be good)
-if you have paypal (best) or if you can do a money order

Note: Anybody posting in this thread should specify which deal they are talking about. There is one deal (the original one, as well as the thread) that was started by myself, and there was the one started by ctsport (the second one), so specify which deal you are talking about

but...there are people who want the same color and nobody wants the pink color and the light blue color, which is a problem. I dont know if people are willing to have a pink or green sock instead of a gray or yellow sock...

I havent heard back from Shaahid, but if he/she is still in on the deal, and if you (superlyduper) are willing to have a green sock instead of grey, then the deal sounds good. If you and Shaahid both really want grey, then I could just flip a coin.

Veasey, there is a possibility I could get back in on the deal. If the three people on the deal want to buy 2 each, that is okay. There is one more way that I know of now that I could get the money to you. If you anyone that made the junior district band (I made it), then I could give that person the money on one of the practices/performances on April 6, 8, or 9. This is a long time from now though.

Remember I dropped out of the deal so the others take priority. If someone drops out, I'll be glad to be back in or if someone only wants one sock. My first choice would be grey and my second choice would be pink. I'm not really interested in other colors. Both would also be an option.

also, the cost for the socks might be a bit more than $9.66 ($29 divided by 3 people) because there is shipping charges and tax on the socks. Probably will come to about 11 dollars for the two socks

Ill give you a chance to respond to the PMs and this post then I will assume that you dropped out of the deal, which leaves room for another person to be in on the deal.
