Just got a new iPod Photo, 40gig. Currently I am using the iSkin from my old 3g 30gig iPod because $30 is far too large of a rip off for a piece of rubber.

Anyhoo, I want to get iPod Armor for my frequent trips up snowboarding (I live in Boulder, CO) and I was wondering if the 3g iPod Armor cases will fit my new iPod. The reason I ask is because the armor for the 3g iPods (with the play/menu/trackforard/back buttons above the wheel) is on sale for $29.99, SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the $49.99 for the 4g case (which now fits iPod Photos).

Here (http://halfkeyboard.com/order/index.php#ipodarmorclearance) is the site for the iPod Armor sale.

Thanks a bunch. :p

Oh yeah, I was also looking at aluminum cases on eBay. They have them for a lot cheaper, like $15ish, but I doubt they are as strong.

I am wondering the same thing. The third gen ones seem like a better deal, but I do not want to buy something that doesnt fit. However, I have a 20 gig 4G. If I remember right, the 4G 40 gigs fit the 3G case, but I am not sure about the iPod photo.

Also, if I fall on the iPod armor, the iPod inside would not be harmed, correct?
