depends on what u mean by folder structure. if u copied the folders from your ipod labelled like F0 or something and cant get them arranged back to being labelled by artist, just simply put those folders all into a folder other than itunes, import them into your library and consolidate your library. now they will be arranged by artist (i think) in your itunes folder. if you mean that the folder sructure was lost in the ipod itself, just simply restore the ipod (deletes all files) and sync it with your library again

oh yea, and make sure all your files are in your itunes library again before you do anything.

Yes- all the files are in this f.. structure- but if i copy them in a new folder i have a lot of problems with mixes etc. taged with various artist..- so if if the file name is the same - for exmple- dj Spinbad..- the windows wont copy it because of the same file name although its another file with another title- but it seems to be a problem with the taging. Now i retsored all the files saved from ipod with creating a new copy in itunes- no problems with the f.. folders left. Tried with Dr Tag http://www.asterius-mediaworks.com/en/ but this destroys the structure- although Dr tag is great-so now i thry it be mmjb by hand-- bores ----- got some ideas? software tips?

try individually dragging the songs in the f.. folders? if i remember properly, they shoudl be in proper ID3 tags. i lost a song in my library due to faulty deleting of converted AACs from WMA and just found it in the F.. folders, dragged it into my itunes folder and the id3 tags are fine. it may take a while to drag all the songs separately, but i think that by this point you have no choice. also, you can rename from within the ipod hard drive i beleive (in the hidden folders) so try renaming them if there is a mixup in names and drag them in that state to your itunes folder. they should play in itunes and become part of your library. however, i am not sure that from this point they will play on the ipod any longer. if so, jsut simply auto-sync again but restore the ipod first, because of the corrupted files. simply, just try as much as possible to drag everything that you want from the F.. folders to a folder in your computer, even if it means that you have to drag the songs separately. if you just drag the folder itself, there shoudl not be any contradictions because of similar file names, because iof they could exist in this state on the ipod, they should in the computer. try first dragging the folders separetely, but if that doesnt work, drag the songs seperately. change file names around of you ahve to, you shouldnt have to change around the ID3 tags since itunes doesnt automatically delete duplicates. once you have a folder with all the music and it all has been imported into itunes, simply consolidate the library and the songs will be arraged in folders by artist.

Ok- Thanks but there are 2866 Songs to drag separately!!! I dont have time for that! I also have to rename about 500 Songs- by hand because the have the same foldernames.
I try now creating new names with mmjb.
Thanks
