$160 Shipped. I'll consider OBOs, but let's not lowball too much, okay? ;)
Up for sale is one new, unused, unopened PAC AUX-POD (also known as AUXPOD and iPod2Car) purchased roughly one week ago. Also included is one AB-FRD20 car-specific cable. Finally, included is one set of U tools to remove a factory Ford headunit.
Unfortunately, Ford changed headunit design for 2004, and the AUX-POD's AB-FRD20 cable will not work with my in-dash 6CD changer headunit. All I am looking for is to come relatively close to breaking even by selling this setup to someone else. This unit has never been used. When I pulled the headunit, I saw that the port I needed to tap didn't exist on the changer anymore (Ford dropped external changer support from their 6CD this year), and therefore, I do not even need to open PAC's products. In essense, I will be sending you the exact package I was sent. I just don't want to face the company's 20% restocking fee (how absurd) if I return it.
To see what the AB-FRD20 does fit, go here: http://www.cardomain.com/shop/item.pl?sku=PACABFRD20.
If you don't own a Ford, you can still use the AUX-POD and purchase an car-specific cable from any online merchant who sells these items. However, I am fairly certain the price here for everything (AUX-POD, cable, and tools) is much less than any retailer online - most want $160 for the AUX-POD alone. If you drive a new or newer Ford, this kit is for you.
Payment is through PayPal, money order, or cashier's check only. If you're paying through money order or cashier's check, I will not ship the items until the payment is in hand. If paying through PayPal, I will ship the items within 1-2 days (just to allow me to make time in my schedule to get to a shipping center). I'm a Verified Premier Account holder on PayPal and a trusted eBay buyer and seller. I know I am new on this board, but I'd be happy to prove my trustworthiness.
If you have any questions, concerns, or applicability questions, please e-mail me and I'll do my best to help you out. Also, check out PAC Audio's website (http://www.pac-audio.com/) for vehicle-specific inquiries.
Thanks for looking.
