If you use google some of the other sites were out of stock but you can e-mail them and ask if they will have them back in stock any time soon.

I've emailed several of the companies listed on a google search and have rang a few local distributors........no luck though.

Did you use the 'Dealer Locator' button on that page? I don't know where your located in the UK but try it and see how close a dealer is to your location. It will allow you to set an exact location to locate a dealer. Try it and see.

Done it....

Closest to me is Darlington, plus i rang 2 more dealers in north-east area. All 3 have stopped even trying to get them in stock as there is such a backlog for them apparently.

Thanks for the efforts though :D

I am writing to let you all know this is the worst prodict for the Ipod.
Don't buy it!!!
I will detail all my problems with it in a future post but nonetheless the product is just not fit for public consumption.

I am on my secoond Shield Jacket, purchased @ Paragon in NYC.
The first Jacket would change songs by itself and lower the volume.
I can write that off as a fluke. I returned the jacket and hope I am clear of the problem with a new one handed to me with no questions asked.
The jacket seems to work okay walking around NYC. I will say the buttons are very hard to opperate with gloves on.

Now lets head to the mountain. In the cold weather the with enough wind the softswitch becomes hard and any movement in the forearm will randomly trigger the buttons. I have experienced track skipping, and worst of all mid-run full volume blasts.

So I call burton and they will replace the jacket of course "We have never heard of that problem" BULLSH!7. I actually ordered a special 3G softswitch amp inteface box as per their recommedation from Dr. Bott and guess what? it is exactly the same soft switch box as the 4G. So I try again not willing to give up so easily. Again the jacket fails on the mountain. My recomendation is to buy the Jacket you want and Get the Griffin AirClick when that comes out later this quarter. After calling burton yesterday I was told that this is a rather widespread problem.

The Burton Ipod Sheild Jacket is garbage. Spend the money on an AK Fuse Continuum Jacket instead.

On a side note , I have been snowboarding for over 15 years, I still have a burton Elite 130 ( if you know that is a fossil). I am a die hard burton rider. I have no problem letting people know that this product is as shotty as they come. DO NOT BUY IT!!!!!!!
