i have a 4g 40 gig ipod that i got for christmas and was just wandering if i should get the iskin or lajo exoflip to protect it....i like the opening of the lajo but it looks kinda cheap.....also does it bother anyone about the click wheel being exposed on the iskin, is there a way to protect it?....and do either of these scratch up the ipod, i have heard rumors about cases scratching the ipods they are supposed to protect.....any help would be rockin'......thanks

busta006,

I had an iskin for my 3g 40gig and loved it. Very protective case, great screen protector. However, DO NOT USE THE BELT CLIP. It will leave a ring on the back of your ipod. Also, every time I took my ipod in or out the case I was always sure to clean inside of the case and outside of the ipod (to prevent dust scratches). I even put a cut down PDA screen protector film over the screen just to be safe.

I tried a speck case the used the bottom flip. It seemed to scratch the ipod thought. all the opening and closing. Dust would get in the bottom flap and scratch it. Then again, that speck case was garbage. There new products might have improved though.

I just removed the white cover off of my dock and the ipod with iskin fit perfect.
