hi everyone,

yesterday i tried to copy a 4.5 gigabyte zip-file onto my 40 gig iPod (8 gigabyte available). after coping 95% I got an error message saying "disk is full". of course this is rubbish since 8 gigs were still available.
so I though maybe it has something to do with the file size (too big). I split the file into 7 pieces and copied them onto the pod - no problem.
in other words, there must be some sort of file size limit for the iPods hard drive (around 4.2 gigabyte).
can anybody confirm my finding? and if it is so, what is the rational behind it?
