I got my 1st ipod on Wed. Dec 29, 2004; on Tuesday Jan. 4, it started having problems. My Dell 4600 (just got it in October 04) wouldn't recognize the ipod. I connected it to all the usb ports and still nothing. I tried to "reset" it but nothing happened. I then returned it to Best Buy and got a new one. Last night, it recognized it and I downloaded tunes BUT when I was done, I shut down my computer and funky stuff ensued. I got the blue screen 'o' death and freaked out. I then manually shut down the computer and restarted it. When I shut it down again (the computer), it had the famous "please wait while ccapps.exe shuts down". WTF? Has anyone elses ipod funked up their PC?!?! If this is a common problem I think I'll choose the $1000+ Dell over the ipod.... Thanks for any response, I needs some help. (Also, insults and witty jabs are encouraged as well.)
