I know when i used kaza or morpheus a long long time ago ive gotten viruses through downloading shareware is this still going on? I am actually interested in using mp3u.com is this site pretty good??

Johnny. that site looks lame as hell. the interface and layout looks like an elementary kid's school project. just get your stuff from a legitimate source (itunes, napster, etc..) and be done with it.

conversely, buy CD's (gasp!) and rip them in superior quality then you'll get from pay-per-song-programs.
