Recently, songs are skipping when playing them through iTunes.
Could it be iPodder causing the songs to skip when it is scanning feeds?
I have this paranoid thought that 4.7 is corrupting my napster songs.

If you have songs that were downloaded using napster and just transfered to iTunes, you may need to burn them to a CD and import them into iTunes.

I had downloaded songs from the old mp3.com and had to import them into iTunes via CD's I had burned the songs on to get them to play. They all play just fine now and I have no problems with them. The downloads that I transfered into the iTunes library I had a lot of problems with until I imported from a CD that I burned. Make sure you click on the song and play a little of it in itunes - this also will help stop the skipping.

this was so annoyning, after rippin a cd and puttin it on my ipod the song would jump. i found this with certain cd's. obviously a reason could be that they are scratched. but brand new cds were jumpin so...

i found better success when rippin cds while the computer was doing nothin. mayb a computer geek will pull me up but it worked. if the computer is busy it may be that the use of loads of ram affects the way the cd is ripped, laters

Thank you folks. When I say skipping, I don't mean skip to next song. The song itself will breakup and hesitate. I just moved a bunch of old napster songs over my network to iTunes, so I think honeybee1236 my have the answer.
