im interested in putting linux on my 3G...
all i want to now is if i screw up or something, is it reversable?
like i can just go back to the way the iPod was before putting the Linux OS on there?
Cheers

if you restore to factory defaults i would have assumed that would get it back to it's original state

I have read articles about linux on the 3g, I wanted to try it out as well but have not found anything that states this process is reversable. So if you do find some info on it PM me the link.
thanks

until i've done it myself, all i can do is 'assume' LOL!!
EDIT: looking at your post above it looks like my 'assumption' may be incorrect...
does installing linux on the iPod prevent it from being re-connected back to a mac or wintel box?

why PM? how about sharing with the board via this thread so more people know and can answer the next time someone has this same question (which is inevitable).
