I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am Se and want to play my ipod in it with the stock player. The problem is I don't have a cassette player. The stereo does have an aux input. Reading old posts, all I need is some sort of RCA input adapter. Did I need to get a specific RCA input that is made for my car, or would a RCA input that i can pick up in Radio Shack do the job?

It sounds like you should be able to get one from Radio Shack and that should work just fine...as long as it's a regular aux. input on your stereo.

You could always try it, and if it doesnt work/fit take it back?

just get a plug with a stereo mini jack on both ends, and you're home free!!!!
