Wow, that's been brought up from a while ago. Anyway, I never did find that version. I didn't think I could find it free, but I'm surprised I couldn't even find it edited and pay for it.

Not sure where to find it (doubt it even exists unless the radios are playing it now), but I don't necessairly understand the need for censorship. "Unless you want to play it for a church dance or somehting". It's just words. The line in question goes "Read between the lines, what's F*d up and everything's alright". It's the idea behind the words that gives them power or offense. Words in and of themselves don't harm things. Maybe you just don't want to hear those words, but the line is very mild as far as cursing in songs goes, (and it's a great song). Teach kids what's acceptable and what's not. i'm sure most kids would not even notice too much unless a big deal was made about it. Good luck in your search. I agree that Green day will not likely censor their music to make record labels happy. After all they started out as a Punk band.

I don't mind that the words are in there, and I definately understand that it adds the whole meaning for it. Why am I looking for it edited then? When I'm rocking out, I don't want my mom yelling at me for hearing the "F word."

1.) I dont think that song even has f*ck in it
2.) Don't be cheap, and buy the song on itunes for a friggen $1
3.) Listen to the radio that song is way over played
