I bought my 3G 10GB in Nov. of last year ('03) and a couple of weeks ago I began having problems syncing with iTunes. I went on vacation (sans iPod!) and started troubleshooting when I got back int town, to find out that the hard drive has bad sectors. I know I'm out of warranty, but it's by barely a month, and I'm wondering if I go to my local Apple Store if there's any possibility they might cover the service under the just-barely-expired warranty. Anyone had a similar experience or know what I can expect?
