Battery Drain

Last night after charging my 15 GB ipod until it said it was fully charged, I added two songs to it via Musicmatch 8.0. I did not bother to recharge it b/c I figured it was full so I left in in the dock without connecting the cable to it (so it was not charging). This morning, the battery was empty. Any thoughts on what happened?

try resetting it. maybe the ipod battery isn?t really empty, it just seems that way because of some kind of malfunction. same thing happened to me once (the 3rd day i had it :eek: :mad: ). worked fine after resetting.
