I'm looking for some free music libraries or sites with some or all files encoded in AAC format.
Anyone run across any? Thanks....

it will vary from site to site and artist to artist as whether they use aac or mp3. i believe some on download.com use aac

The iTunes Music Store gives away free songs every week. It can be anywhere from 1 to 4 songs -- if you know where to look.

This macrumors.com forum gives a weekly update list of every free song available on both the US and UK iTunes music stores.

Great, thanks. I also found these:
http://billtmiller.com/mp3orgy/aac/
http://www.leyline.com.br/itunes.html
http://www.wireonfire.com/launchmpeg4.html
http://www.efolkmusic.org/ArtMusic/Downloads.asp (all audio encoded after 1/1/04 is aac, some is free)
http://www.tuner2.com/

Last one is aac+, can't be played in QT/iTunes yet.
