brand new iPod (after theft) , windows 2000, everything was working well, despite use of USB 1.1 (i din't know, i didn't know), but iPod loaded, recognised, itunes had updated it, i could see the tracks on the iPod (but they seemed "faded", if that makes sense........... then nothing.
can't reboot it using menu and select, iPod is dead dead dead, nothing on screen, do i just send it back, or what.
this is so disappointing. and frustrating!
