free music question

i was wondering if the ipod would allow you to put free music on it (like music downloaded from Bearshare or limewire)? any one got any idea?

Of course, as long as the music is in one of the formats supported by the iPod:

Audio formats supported: AAC (16 to 320 Kbps), MP3 (32 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible, AIFF, Apple Lossless and WAV

so what happens if i copy my music that i have on cd and what to put in on my ipod? will that work to

Welcome to the Lounge.

Yup that will work also. When you insert the CD, open iTunes and push Import. iTunes will import the songs off of the CD into your Library for syncing.
