Gang, I am building a car puter... basically removing my head unit and installing a laptop and touch screen in its place. The laptop has a 20 gig drive and usb 2.0... What I would like to do is be able to have windows XP view the music on my 40gig ipod as simple music files (so winamp and WMP can "load" them in as normal) yet still be able to undock and use the ipod while i walk around. Is this possible? Which piece of software sould i use?
