but with that i cant use my ipod while its in the case.......i need one that has the wheel and buttons open.......and an opening for phones,ect.

About $45. The only cheaper hard metal case I've heard of are the Gadget Accessories Metal iPod cases. You can read our review of them here:

thx..........but again............they dont have openings for the wheel and button.......i want a case that i can use my ipod while its closed in the case.

AFAIK, there aren't any hard metal cases for the 3rd-gen iPod that have openings for the wheel and buttons. You might want to consider something like the Contour Showcase instead. I have this case for my 3rd-gen iPod and really like it. Here's our review of it:

ahhhh........i found the innopocket hard metal case for 3rd gens. it has all the openings im looking for! its priced at like 18.95 too!
know anything about this?
